This garden was created as a reconstruction of an old garden, to which the former neighbor’s plot was attached, along with half of the neighbor’s house. There was already a small pond here, and it was decided to increase its area, give it a more natural shape, and create a biofilter that would purify the water on its own without additional equipment.
Area 0.4 ha. Year of creation 2018.
Private estate "River of flowers".
View from the bioplato side.
Water lilies settled in the pond, and the banks were decorated with pike, irises, and loosestrife.
The main task was to combine the two sections organically, and most importantly with a wow effect. The main entrance is located exactly in the middle, where the fence once stood. The left half of the house is intended for the senior owners of the garden, the right - for children. So the idea was born to create a wide "boulevard" leading from the entrance to the plot to the porch. In the middle of this path, we laid out a large flower garden, conditionally calling it a river, along the left "bank" you can go to the entrance to the left side of the house, on the right - to the right. Fassen's catnip is planted in the flower garden, which is decorative from spring to autumn.
One of my favorite varieties of Siberian iris is "Ego".
The general concept in the project sketch. In the future, the main entrance will have a Welcome area for guests. Here, a decorative partition with colored stained glass windows blocks the view of the site and at the same time brings the project together.
The planting is already complete, and the paving is in progress.
The first spring. The tulips are blooming, and the phytoplastic is gradually forming, "cutting" through the paving. Here, we used small tiles with granite and marble chips as the paving material, which creates a white surface that reflects sunlight.
The first summer of the garden. Perennials are growing.
The evening picture is no less impressive.
A rosary garden near the house. The customer's favorite variety is the polyantha rose "The Fairy".
Massifs of cereals and Japanese spirea.
