Shared Grounds
This project was developed for a shelter supporting homeless animals. Its concept centers on creating a space that brings people and animals together — a place where future pet owners can meet, play, and walk with the animals, and where children can learn gentle, responsible interaction with them.

Our design divides the territory into several functional areas: the enclosure zone, a training and exercise area, and an administrative building with a small internal green courtyard. The planting palette is intentionally simple and resilient, requiring minimal maintenance. Trees provide protection from noise and dust, while wildflowers and natural grasses create a calm, informal, nature-inspired atmosphere that feels welcoming to both humans and animals.

The project has not yet been implemented; it is being developed through donations from caring residents and the efforts of the shelter’s organizers.
